Southampton Chinese School – GCSE Chinese Exam Registration and Support Guide
Southampton Chinese School serves as the official GCSE Chinese Exam Coordination Centre in the Southampton area, providing exam registration, oral examination, and language assessment support for local school students and private candidates. All exams take place at our teaching site — Cantell School (SO16 3GJ).
For students whose schools cannot arrange GCSE Chinese exam registration, we warmly welcome you to register and take the exam through our school.Depending on students’ needs, we offer three levels of support services:
Type A: Oral Examiner Only
• For students who have already registered through their own school and only require oral exam support.
Type B: Assessment and Oral Examiner
• For students registered through their own school but who require language assessment and oral exam support from us.
Type C: Full Registration and Exam Package
• For students who cannot register through their own school;
• A complete one-stop package including registration, assessment, and oral examination arranged by our school.
Registration Deadline: Sunday, 1 November 2025
Late Registration Deadline: Monday, 1 December 2025
